inPost is only intended for extraoral application and must not be used in the mouth.
Measuring implant positions places high demands on the component involved. Ensure that the connecting surfaces between inPost and the multi-unit abutment are not dirty or damaged.
Do not touch the inPost surface with your fingers (contamination by fingerprints). Instead use powderless latex gloves, for example.
Screw the inPost onto the multi-unit abutment provided with minimal exertion until it no longer shakes. A particularly tightly fitted device does not result in higher precision. Check that the inPost is positioned on the shoulder of the multi-unit abutment without any gaps.
To scan the inPost, only an inEos X5 scanner with inLab SW 15.0 software or higher is suitable.
