Multilayer PMMA Ronden
Die Fertigung von Mock-ups als „Prototypen“ für hochwertige Restaurationen setzt sich zunehmend durch. Aus Kunststoff (PMMA) gefertigt, wird den Patienten so ihre spätere Zahnprothetik vorgestellt und ein erstes „Tragegefühl“ vermittelt – robust genug, um auch mögliche unkontrollierte Kieferbewegungen unbeschadet zu überstehen. Die Multilayer-Farbscheibe besteht aus 13 gefärbten Schichten, die nahtlos ineinander übergehen. Diese mehrfarbigen PMMA-Rohlinge ergeben ein widerstandsfähiges, stabiles Provisorium.
